This year, Stop-Lite is proud to roll out one of the biggest upgrades we’ve ever made to our LED safety vests.
All Stop-Lite LED Class 2, Class 3, and Police vests will ship with our upgraded 4000mAh rechargeable battery. This upgrade delivers a huge boost in runtime and makes our vests some of the longest-lasting LED traffic safety vests on the market.
The new battery increases runtime by over 500–800%, depending on the mode. Slow Flash now lasts 168 hours (7 days), Fast Flash lasts 96 hours (4 days), and Steady On runs for 72 hours (3 days)—a massive jump from the previous 8–24 hour range. For crews working long shifts, night operations, road construction, or emergency response, this means your LED vest stays bright for days without recharging.
This upgraded battery keeps the same compact size and USB-C charging but now features a bold red housing for easier identification. Charge time is about five hours, and we recommend a full recharge every six months for best performance. This upgrade comes at no additional cost through 2025.
