Solar Road Sign Troubleshooting

Before requesting additional support, please try the following steps. If you need to replace the solar battery, see the instructions at the bottom of this page.

1. Make sure the sign is powered ON.
Use the orange key to switch the sign to one of its two active modes.

The sign will not charge or absorb solar energy when it is turned OFF.

2. Verify the sign is in 24/7 mode.
If it’s set to Dusk-to-Dawn mode, it may not flash during the day.

To check this mode, test the sign at night to confirm it's working properly.

3. Inspect the solar panel connection.
Ensure the solar panel is securely connected to the battery.

The connector is designed to fit only one way—if it feels difficult to insert, it may be upside down. It should connect smoothly when aligned correctly.

4. Check if the battery display powers on.
This will help confirm whether the system is receiving power as expected.

Solar Road Sign Battery Replacement

After speaking with a customer service representative, you may be instructed to replace the solar battery using a newly shipped replacement. Please follow the steps below.
