Stop-Lite Upgrades Its Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery

We’re excited to announce an upgrade to the rechargeable battery used in all Stop-Lite branded paddles and vests, rolling out in October 2025.

What’s New

Our new battery features a 4000mAh battery capacity, nearly doubling the previous 2200mAh model. This upgrade means you’ll now get a minimum of 16 hours of use—up from 6 hours—on a single charge and at no additional cost through the end of 2025!

Familiar Function, Fresh Look

While most things like the size, the weight, the USB-C charging port, and the usage remain exactly the same as the previous model, this battery now comes in a bold red color, making it easier to identify and more in line with the Stop-Lite brand.

Compatible Across Stop-Lite Gear

The upgraded battery powers all Stop-Lite LED handheld paddles, as well as Stop-Lite Class 2, Class 3, and Police vests. It also functions as a power bank, so you can charge your phone or other small devices in urgent situations.

Charging & Maintenance

• Full charge time: approximately 5 hours

• The LED indicator will flash red while the battery is charging, and will be solid red when the battery is done. There will be a brief green light when the battery is removed from the charger.

• Maintenance tip: fully charge the battery at least once every 6 months to maintain optimal performance
